TUCSON, Ariz. -- It's been a good week for Arizona football coach Rich Rodriguez. First a win this week -- 42-19 over Boston College -- and a couple of huge recruiting "gets" in recruiting.

On Thursday, cornerback Jalen Tabor chose Arizona over Alabama on ESPN at the Under Armor All-America Game in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Tabor, a 6-foot-2, 195-pounder from Edison-Friendship Collegiate Academy in Washington, D.C., will be joining teammate Jonathan Haden, who committed to the program in May. Haden is a three-star recruit.

"When I went on my visit, it was just a lot of family atmosphere-type stuff," Tabor said on the ESPN telecast. "They play for each other down there.

"I feel I can go in and provide a spark right away."

Tabor, ranked 38th by Scout.com, also had Florida and Maryland in his top four.

About an hour later, offensive tackle Jordan Poland decommitted from USC to join the Wildcats.

Poland (6-8, 335) is rated as a three-star athlete from La Jolla (Calif.) Country Day High School. He is ranked as the 58th best high school offensive lineman by Scout.
