ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Minnesota Wild signed another of its former draft picks Sunday bringing Swiss center Cristoph Bertschy to the organization.

Bertschy, 21, was a sixth-round draft pick by Minnesota in 2012 and had 30 points in 44 games for SC Bern in the Swiss League this season. Bertschy scored 14 goals and passed out 16 assists to go with a plus-14 rating and 26 penalty minutes.

Bertschy, signed to a three-year, entry-level contract starting with the 2015-16 season, added one goal and two assists in seven playoff games. The 5-foot-10 center was second on the team in goals, third in plus-minus and fifth in scoring during the regular season.

Playing for Switzerland in the 2013 World Junior championships, Bertschy was third on the team in scoring with three goals and two assists. He missed last year's World Juniors tournament with an injury.
