The Minnesota Wild announced Thursday that it has reassigned forwards Charlie Coyle and Matt Kassian to the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League.

Coyle, 20, was recalled by Minnesota on Feb. 3 and made his NHL debut at Phoenix on Feb. 4. He took part in five games with Minnesota and averaged 14:48 of action while registering six shots. Coyle, one of the team’s top prospects, had collected 24 points in 44 games with Houston earlier this season.

Kassian, 26, did not appear in a game with Minnesota this season. The hard-hitting enforcer had notched two goals and 67 penalty minutes in 28 career games with Minnesota. Kassian has 21 points in 220 games with Houston.

Minnesota hosts the Colorado Avalanche at 7 p.m. Thursday.
