SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled forward Chad Rau from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL) under emergency conditions.
Rau, 25 (1/18/87), made his NHL debut Jan. 21 and scored the game-winning goal against Dallas. He has scored two game-winning goals in seven games for the Wild this season. Rau ranks fourth in scoring with 31 points (11-20=31) and is a plus-6 in 58 contests with Houston this season. The 5-foot-11, 184-pound forward is a native of Eden Prairie, Minn., and wears sweater No. 36 with Minnesota.
