ST. PAUL -- The Minnesota Wild has recalled a pair of defensemen for tonight's season finale against Phoenix.

Minnesota has recalled Kris Fredheim and Chay Genoway from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League under emergency conditions.

Genoway, 25, leads Houston's defensemen in scoring, with 32 points, including five power-play goals. The University of North Dakota alum was a four-time All-WCHA honoree as a collegian. Genoway, who will wear sweater No. 47 with the Wild, is also a 2005 graduate of Shattuck-St. Mary's in Faribault, Minn.

Fredheim, 25, appeared in two games with the Wild earlier this season. With Houston, Fredheim had recorded 12 points, including three power-play goals. He was originally selected by Vancouver in the sixth round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. Fredheim wears sweater No. 59 for the Wild.
