The Minnesota Wild have reassigned former Harvard goaltender Steve Michalek to the AHL.

Michalek was recalled on Friday to replace injured backup Darcy Kuemper and didn't see the ice for Minnesota before being sent back down to the AHL, where he is 6-3-0 with a .919 save percentage and a 2.46 goal-against average.

A sixth-round pick of the Wild in 2011, Michalek has also appeared in 24 games for the ECHL's Quad City Mallards this season, and has a .924 save percentage and a 2.42 GAA.
