The Wild have activated first-year forward Grayson Downing.
The 23-year-old suffered a lower-body injury during the 2015 NHL Prospects Tournament in September, and has been assigned to the Iowa Wild, Minnesota's AHL affiliate.
A native of Abbotsford, British Columbia, Downing was an undrafted free agent following a four-year college career at the University of New Hampshire.
Downing racked up 36 points for the Wildcats as a senior, ranking 13th in the NCAA in goals, before signing a two-year entry-level contract with the club in March.
