By Sid Saraf, FOXSports.com Steelers star Troy Polamalu didn't practice on Sunday. Oh, no ... what happened now? Did he get hurt again? Is it something else? Thankfully, head coach Mike Tomlin cleared up the mystery for us:

Oh, I see ... he's fine. Just old! Apparently, the Steelers are taking a more cautious approach with the 11-year-vet. Polamalu has missed 22 games since 2009 and appeared in just seven in 2012. As a result, the Steelers are giving him plenty of time to rest and want to make sure the long-haired weapon is at full strength for the start of the season. Makes sense.
