What if Cruz Heads Back to DL?

Ranger fans issued a collective groan yesterday after learning that star right fielder Nelson Cruz had another hamstring injury and could be headed back to the disabled list for the second time this season. Cruz suffered the injury in his final at-bat of the loss to Kansas City on Wednesday afternoon.
Earlier in the year, the 2009 all-star was sidelined with a strained right hamstring. Cruz left the lineup on April 27 and returned on May 14. Big Nellie hit .341 with 3 HR and 17 RBI since making his return to make him the reigning American League Player of the Week. On May 20, in a 13-7 win over Baltimore, he was 4-for-5 with four RBI.
When he has played, Cruz has again been a solid run producer. As of Friday, he was hitting .330 with 10 HR, 34 RBI and 7 SB. He had also scored 19 runs. While losing such a big bat is a blow to any offense, if Cruz does indeed head back to the DL, it doesn
