DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) West Indies captain Carlos Brathwaite won the toss and opted to field against Pakistan in the second Twenty20 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

West Indies retained the same playing XI despite losing the opening game of the three-match series by nine wickets at the same venue on Friday.

Brathwaite hoped the dampened ball, because of dew, will help his World Twenty20 champion team to chase and negate the spin threat of Imad Wasim, who took 5-14 in West Indies' below-par total of 115 in the first match.

Pakistan didn't disturb its winning combination, which meant fast bowler Mohammad Amir, who was married this week, again had to sit out.
