PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad (AP) West Indies reached 62-2 as rain forced an early lunch on the first day of the fourth and final test against India on Thursday.
A downpour had also delayed the start of the match, before home captain Jason Holder won the toss and elected to bat.
After a steady start, opener Leon Johnson fell for 9 to fast bowler Ishant Sharma, with Rohit Sharma taking the catch. Darren Bravo (10) soon followed, after misjudging a straight delivery from off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin that hit his off stump.
