Cardinal Mooney Cardinals @ St. Vincent St. Mary Fighting Irish at 11pm

        This week’s
matchup pits 2011 Division III State Champion Youngstown Cardinal Mooney
against last year’s Division III State Champion St. Vincent St. Mary. Both
teams will look to impose their will on the ground. Together, the two
teams have rushed for 1,600 yards and 25 touchdowns through the first three
weeks of the season. At (3-0), St. Vincent St. Mary has outscored their
opponents 147 to 32 and has limited opposing offenses to just 142 yards a
game. Not only is St. Vincent St. Mary capable of scoring on the ground
and through the air, but the Fighting Irish also received big plays on special
teams. They have returned a punt 58 yards for a touchdown and returned a
kickoff 99 yards for a score. At (2-1), Mooney appears ready to make a run
towards the playoffs in Division IV.  Like St. Vincent St. Mary, Mooney
has plenty of options at running back. Averaging 8 yards a carry, Mooney
has rushed for 924 yards and 10 touchdowns this season.  Which team will
control the line of scrimmage offensively? Which defense will survive a
fierce ground attack and emerge victorious?  Find out Friday night at
        11:00pm on SportsTime Ohio!
