The most talked about player in college football took center stage Saturday at Kyle Field and we’re with him for every step.

Here's a breakdown of Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel's day  Saturday against top-ranked Alabama.

6:18 - Manziel does some of his best work eluding the CBS Johnny Cam. He heads to midfield for handshakes with towel over head and when he's done sprints off field.

6:14 - Manziel and Kennedy again for a touchdown but there's just 15 seconds remaining. He now has a career high 464 passing yards.

6:08 - Manziel takes the field for a stat-padding drive with a little more than two minutes remaining and the Aggies down 49-35.

6:01 - All Manziel can do is pace on the sidelines as the Crimson Tide march 60 yards down to the Aggie 5 with 2:34 remaining.

5:48
- The passing TD put Manziel over the 400-yard mark for the day.

5:47 – After a fumble, the Aggies have one last chance at their own 4. A perfect pass from Manziel to Evans nets the Aggies a 95-yard score and it’s not over yet. Second-longest TD pass play in A&M history.

5:33 – Manziel and Malcome Kennedy try to bring the 87,000 back to life with a touchdown to make it 42-28. But about that Aggie defense….

5:30 – Jarrick Williams does something a lot of the anti-Manziel faction wanted to happen. He horsecollared Manziel. It cost him 15 yards.

5:20 – Now the Aggies are running the ball. And it nets them a 3 and out. And the Alabama fans are making themselves heard at Kyle Field.

5:17 – Manziel has more than 330 yards of total offense but with the Aggies down by 21, it’s not going to be enough today.

5:10 – Manziel is watching the Alabama offense shred the Aggie D from a knee on the sideline.

5:03 – Malcome Kennedy, who had the big TD catch last year against Alabama, catches an 11-yard TD pass.

4:58 – Nick Perry bats down a Manziel pass and then does some jawing with him.

4:57 – The first Manziel scramble of the drive results in a holding call and a 1st and 20.

4:52 – Down 35-14, Manziel back on field and Aggies have run the ball four-straight plays.

4:46 – Manziel keeps for nine for the first play of the half for the Aggies. The fun ended on the next play though as a tipped pass was intercepted by Vinnie Sunseri, who returned it 73 yards. Manziel had a chance at a tackle on the play but whiffed, much like the Aggie defense has.

4:34 – Manziel finished first half with 249 passing yards and 61 rushing. But his one interception in the end zone was key. Aggies could have been up 21-14 at the time. Haven’t come close to scoring since. A&M has just 13 non-Manziel related yards.

4:18 – First half ends with Aggies trailing 28-14. Manziel throws across his body on the final play of the half.

4:13 – An unsportsmanlike call goes against T.J. Yeldon. Of course it came after a touchdown, kind of like Manziel a couple of weeks ago against Rice. Yeldon with the double-throat slash and mocks the Aggies "cashing out" sign.

3:59 – Manziel scrambles for nothing and the Aggies are punting again. The Tide has turned at Kyle Field.

3:58 – Manziel is sacked for first time. Loses five yards.

3:44– Manziel, who could have been intercepted on jump ball, is in the end zone this time by Cyrus Jones. Bad throw on fade.

3:38 – I don’t even know how to describe that play. Nick Saban may be crying. Manziel did one of these and one of those and then threw up a jump ball. And of course it worked. He is Johnny Football.

3:34 – Travis Labhart, who stood next to Manziel during “The Spirit of Aggieland”, now getting involved. A catch on one play and draws a hold on the next.

3:30 – A.J. McCarron gets tricky and completes 44-yard touchdown pass on flea flicker. Manziel hasn’t even tried a flea flicker … yet.

3:24 – Maybe the Aggies need Manziel on defense. They are getting no pass rush.

3:23 – Manziel survives first quarter without any turnovers of personal fouls.  Also has 154 yards passing and 50 rushing.

3:19 – A pair of penalties kill the Aggie
drive. Not even Manziel has a play designed for 3rd and 32. Aggies punt
for first time. Good news for Alabama is that Aggies will only score 14
points in first quarter. Had 20 last year.

3:19 – The drive ended with a Manziel scramble that knocked over a security guard. NCAA investigating Manziel.

3:00 – Ben Malena’s 1-yard run makes it a 14-0 game after a 1 minute, 34-second drive. Manziel heads to bench and sits
in between offensive lineman. It’s a safe place to be so far.

2:57 – The three-minute break didn’t help as Manziel scrambles for 11 yards to start the series.

2:54 – Manziel and the Aggies are back on the field but a commercial
timeout has done something Alabama hasn’t done yet, slowing Manziel and
the Aggies for three minutes.

2:50 – Manziel, with towel on head, sits by himself on bench as Alabama takes over. Is he hiding from the CBS Johnny Cam? Or the paparazzi?

2:54 – Manziel and the Aggies are back on the field but a commercial timeout has done something Alabama hasn’t done yet, slowing Manziel and the Aggies for three minutes.

2:57 – The three-minute break didn’t help as Manziel scrambles for 11 yards to start the series.

2:46 p.m.– Manziel with the fake and the toss to Cameron Clear for a touchdown. It took 2 minutes, 39 seconds of game time for the Aggies to go up 7-0. Because Manziel likes to share, it’s the first catch of the year for Clear.

2:44 p.m.– Manziel and Evans again for 35 yards sets Aggies up at the Alabama 5.

2:42 p.m. – Manziel completes his first pass, finding Mike Evans down the right sideline for 32 yards.

2:42 p.m. – Manziel scrambles right for his first rushing first down on the first play from scrimmage.

2:27 p.m. – The video board draws a cheer from the crowd when the starting lineup is announced and Manziel is the quarterback. Kind of a no brainer there. Should have tugged at their emotions by announcing Matt Joeckel. Don’t know how well that would have gone over though.

2:15 p.m.
– Manziel is smart during the playing of "The Spirit of Aggieland," standing next to his No. 1 receiving target Mike Evans.

1:45 p.m. – The Aggies, wearing white helmets, took the field for pregame workouts. Manziel looked sharp, of course it helped that there’s no Alabama defense bearing down on him yet.

1:13 p.m. – While traffic outside of Kyle Field was at a standstill, Manziel was getting some early work on the field. Wearing gray shorts and wearing headphones that we can only assume had Drake playing, Manziel spent about 10 minutes on the field before departing.
