The trailer for the movie Patriots Day has been released.
The film, which chronicles the events surrounding the Boston Marathon bombings, stars Mark Wahlberg, who plays a Boston cop, Kevin Bacon, who plays FBI special agent Richard DesLauriers, John Goodman as former police commissioner Ed Davis, and J.K. Simmons as Watertown Police Sgt. Jeffrey Pugliese.
Patriots Day opens in Boston, New York, and Los Angeles on Dec. 21.
