American Idol held auditions for its 14th season recently in Dallas, and during the Mavericks' Media Day, Mustard Slinger Sports asked Mavericks All-Star Dirk Nowitzki what song he would audition with if he decided to stand in front of the judges.
You have to watch to see the German phenom break into song with his artist and song selection:
This isn't Dirk's first reference to his love of the David Hasselhoff song. In 2006, Dirk admitted he calmed himself at the free throw line by singing "Looking for Freedom."
Just last month, Dirk performed the song live on a German TV show.
P.S. The Rock recently announced he's starring in a remake of Baywatch. Any chance The Hoff will have a cameo? We know one person who would be pretty excited to see that.
