Anthony Rizzo views David Ross as a father (or grandfather) figure. It is no surprise to see the Cubs first baseman turn to the veteran catcher for solace as the Cubs lead the Indians in Game 7 of the World Series.
“I'm an emotional wreck,” Rizzo said. “I'm in a glass case of emotions.”
Ross is playing in his final game and will retire after 15 years in the majors.

Rizzo was quoting the hit film “Anchorman” which was released in 2004 when he was 14 years old.
