Those of us in the Buckeye State may think that this story makes a lot of sense, but it might be less well-received in Alabama or Tennessee.
See, Urban Meyer swiped the highly-coveted safety from Ridgeland High School in Georgia away from the two SEC schools. This is undoubtedly considered shocking behavior in SEC-land, but Bell had an explanation for why he switched:
"The first two days (before signing day), I just woke up out of my dreams. Me and God just had a conversation. He said ‘I want you go to Ohio State.’ Then I just knew ever since then."
Vonn continues:

"He just woke me up in the middle of my sleep, and I just heard ‘Ohio State’ in my head. I just listened to it, and stuck with it. Ohio State was in my heart… Yes. I didn’t know (which college I was going to sign with) until then. I asked God to give me a sign, and He gave me a sign. I woke up the middle of the night."
According to Scout.com, Bell is the second-best safety recruit in the nation, a genuine five-star prospect. Here's what Chad Simmons of Scout has to say about Bell:
There is not much Bell does not do well in the secondary. He is still a little light for a safety that loves to deliver big hits, but he does most things very well. He makes plays, he has exceptional hands, he closes on the ball well, and he has shown great bursts out of his breaks. He could get a look at corner too because of his feet and quickness. He is an all around athlete with big-play ability.
Those of us here in Ohio - well, most of us, anyway - are convinced that Bell made the right choice. He'll fit in well with some of the historically great safeties that have played at Ohio State.
