By Sam Gardner, FOXSports.com Broncos linebacker Von Miller has gotten off to quite the start during his first two years in the NFL, with the 24-year-old already earning himself two Pro Bowl invites and an All-Pro selection by way of 106 tackles and 30 sacks as the anchor of the Denver defense. But if football doesn’t work out, the former Texas A&M standout always has a future in the poultry business. Seriously. During his days as an Aggie, Miller majored in poultry science — this is a real thing — and now he’s starting to put his education to work, according to USA Today. Miller reportedly purchased 38 chickens this offseason, with the hopes of one day building his own company. "I really wanted to get to the fundamentals, getting back to raising chicks," Miller told the paper. "I raised chicks in college in class and stuff. Now it's a project for me to do it on my own, and see where I go with it. I'm pretty excited about it." It might sound like a joke, but it’s not. On Wednesday, Miller tweeted out this photo from his eight-acre property near Dallas:

Only time will tell if Miller makes it as a successful chicken magnate, but in the meantime, he's keeping his goals realistic, telling reporters: "Hopefully I'll have some chicken tenders for you guys." That and another 18.5 sacks should suit the Broncos just fine.
