Multiple outlets are reporting that the Minnesota Vikings have re-signed offensive lineman Patrick Brown to a one-year contract worth $540,000.

Brown, 25, was set to become an exclusive rights free agent if he wasn't re-signed prior to the start of free agency on March 13. Brown is the first of Minnesota's free agents, and only exclusive rights free agent, to re-sign with the team. Linebacker Kenny Onatolu is the only restricted free agent among the Vikings' 17 free agents this offseason.

A 6-foot-5, 310-pound backup tackle, Brown was undrafted out of Central Florida in 2009 and spent time on Minnesota's practice squad for parts of two seasons before winning a spot on the active roster last season. Brown played in 15 games in 2011, contributing on special teams and saw limited action as a backup offensive tackle.
