It’s about to get pretty chilly if you’re a Vikings fan. The Vikings will play their final season at the Metrodome in 2013. What’s next? Well, hope you’re warm. The Vikings will make the move to TCF Bank Stadium, home of the Minnesota Golden Gophers, for 2014 and 2015 seasons as their new stadium gets built. It’s likely that the new stadium will be ready by the 2016 season. The NFL approved a $200 million loan to help the Vikings’ stadium financing plan on Monday at the owners meetings in Phoenix. You may recall that the Vikings hosted the Bears in 2010 at TCF Bank after the roof collapsed at the Metrodome. Those were some pretty frigid conditions in late December, and it’s likely that MVP Adrian Peterson will have to deal with these conditions in a couple of seasons. Let’s just say, we don’t think he’ll have a problem making the adjustment.
