EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) -- The Minnesota Vikings have claimed cornerback Julian Posey off waivers from the Cleveland Browns.
Posey appeared in five games for the Browns in 2013 and had six tackles and a sack.
After going through training camp with the Miami Dolphins in 2013, Posey was signed by the Browns to their practice squad on Sept. 2, 2013. He appeared in two games for the Dolphins in 2012.
Posey, who played collegiately for the Ohio Bobcats after prepping at Cincinnati LaSalle, originally was signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2011 and spent 15 weeks of the 2011 season on the Jets practice squad.
