EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Two players from this weekend's rookie minicamp impressed the Minnesota Vikings enough to stick around.

Minnesota announced Monday that it has signed tackle Brandon Keith and wide receiver Adam Thielen, two of 34 players that were part of the Vikings' rookie minicamp last weekend on a tryout basis.

Keith, a four-year veteran, was a seventh-round pick by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2008 draft out of Northern Iowa and has 20 starts in his career out of 26 games. Keith, listed at 6-foot-5, 335 pounds, last played for Arizona in 2011 and started 11 of his 13 games.

Thielen went undrafted in April's NFL draft out of Minnesota State-Mankato, but was offered the tryout by Minnesota. Thielen, listed by the school at 6-foot-3, had 74 catches for 1,176 yards and eight touchdowns last season. He's the second former Mavericks player on the Vikings' roster, joining practice squad holdover LaMark Brown.

"It's official I'm a Minnesota Viking! Time to go to work!!," Thielen wrote on his Twitter page (@thielen9) on Monday.

Minnesota waived receiver Nicholas Edwards in a corresponding move. Edwards was signed last week as an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Washington.
