Video wrap-up: Wild night at Sprint Unlimited
From big wrecks, to great saves, and an incredible finish, Saturday's Sprint Unlimited was full of action. Check out the best videos from the first race of the 2014 season.
Jimmie Johnson's first outing as a six-time champion did not go so well. This was his third-straight DNF in the Sprint Unlimited.
While Johnson got the spinning off to a start, Matt Kenseth and Joey Logano took it to a whole new level. The two made contact in the tri-oval and triggered a nine-car incident. Nearly clear of the incident with minor damage, Danica Patrick's night was ended when boyfriend Ricky Stenhouse Jr. hit her No. 10 Chevrolet hard well past the wreck.
In case you needed reminding, Kyle Busch is one of the best at saving a race car.
Fan-favorite Dale Earnhardt Jr. looked to be a strong contender for the win, until he and Marcos Ambrose got together late in the going. Dale Jr. wasn't too happy with Ambrose, but found a way to forgive him rather quickly.
In the end, it was Joe Gibbs Racing's Denny Hamlin that made his way to the front and kicked off the 2014 season the same way he ended 2013.
