VIDEO: Steven Stamkos slapshot destroys water bottle

Having already felt the chill of the "Ice Bucket Challenge," Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos found himself faced with yet another water-related challenge while filming a TV commercial for Powerade Canada.

Taking target practice to a whole new level, Stamkos took aim at a water bottle that sat atop the net. What happened next may leave some goaltenders frantically double-checking their padding.

Watch as Stamkos fires a rocket from point-blank range to send pieces of plastic all over the rink.

"Had fun filming with @PoweradeCA the other day," Stamkos tweeted Monday. "Nailed it."
