Dale Tallon said he is ''about 70 percent'' sure of who the team will pick if it keeps the No. 1 choice in Friday night's NHL draft, the Florida Panthers general manager told reporters in Philadelphia.
But Tallon also admitted that the Panthers have entertained a few offers, including ''one really intriguing'' proposal.
''I like having the first pick,'' Tallon said. ''I don't want to have it ever again.''

The Panthers have met with a number of potential draft choices in the days leading up to the draft.
''I love this time of the year,'' Tallon said. ''It's fantastic to see these kids, to interview them a second time, to get to know them a little bit better, to see the eagerness.''
