Vanilla Ice to perform during Texans' home opener
After a dramatic comeback win against the Chargers Monday night in San Diego, the Texans will return home to Reliant Stadium Sunday to face the Tennessee Titans.
So who did the Texans' marketing team get to perform at halftime during the team's home opener "Liberty White Out" day?
None other than the one-hit wonder himself, Vanilla Ice.
At least one person in Houston is happy about the scheduled performance in Texans offensive tackle Duane Brown.
"I heard about that, man," Brown told the Houston Chronicle after asked about Ice's scheduled performance. "That's cool."
And Ice himself is looking pumped to perform in front of the sell-out crowd judging by his Twitter post on Friday.

Vanilla Ice, born as Robert Matthew Van Winkle, burst on to the national stage in the early 1990s with his hit song, "Ice, Ice Baby" and recently has become a reality television figure.
Spoiler alert, Vanilla Ice will probably be performing that one and only hit song in the short amount of time he will have during a regular season halftime of 12 minutes.
Sounds like a good time for fans to get up for a drink refill.
