TUCSON, Ariz. -- USC's Marqise Lee cut through the Arizona defense and found openings unlike any receiver in Pac-12 history Saturday.

With a 44-yard touchdown catch -- his 13th reception of the game -- with 10:37 left in the third quarter, Lee reached 299 yards receiving, shattering the previous school record and breaking the conference record. He finished with 345 yards and two touchdowns on 16 catches.

Lee had 255 yards at halftime, just five yards short of the previous USC single-game record of 260 yards, set by R. Jay Soward against UCLA in 1996. With the long touchdown, he passed both Soward and Oregon State's Mike Haas, who held the conference record with a 293-yard performance against Boise State in 2004.

A sophomore, Lee went into Saturday's game at Arizona Stadium leading the conference in receptions (60) and receiving yards (784).
