UNC Asheville rolls over Tusculum 78-40

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) Andrew Rowsey scored 20 points, his 36th consecutive game in double figures and his 10th straight of at least 20, to lead UNC Asheville over Tusculum 78-40 on Thursday night.

Rowsey, who is second in the nation in scoring at 25.6 points per game, made 8 of 18 shots. He came into the game as the nation's leader in 3-pointers made per game at 4.43 and he added four more on 10 attempts. He also had five assists. Sam Hughes added 10 points and Giacomo Zilli nine rebounds for the Bulldogs (4-4).

The Bulldogs shot just 46 percent but outrebounded the Pioneers (1-8) 45-35 and took advantage of 25 turnovers, 13 coming on steals.

The Pioneers didn't have any players scoring double figures, hitting just 15 of 56 shots for 26.8 percent.

The Bulldogs led 39-23 at halftime and outscored the Division II Pioneers 23-3 to open the second half.
