UIL 5A-D1 look ahead

There are still plenty of great teams left in the State playoffs, but most of the eyes in the DFW will be focused in on the 5A-D1 bracket where three of the areas toughest teams look to advance to the semis. FOXSportsSouthwest.com and Scout.com preview the colossal match-ups and takes a stab at predicting the outcomes.
Region 1
Coppell v. Euless Trinity
This may be the most anticipated match-up of the weekend as both squads head in to Dragon Stadium in Southlake with unblemished records. Coach Steve Lineweaver has Euless Trinity poised to end the season as the top ranked prep team in the country. Athlete Brandon Carter is the premier player on a Trojans offense that has racked up a plethora of yards this season. Carter has seen time all over the field. He plays quarterback, receiver, defensive back and returns kicks. When the team needs to dial up a big play they usually turn to #10.
Everyone knows about the talents of Trinity offense, but the Coppell offense led by Notre Dame commitment Cam McDaniel has put up some nice numbers as well. But it may be Coach Joe McBride
