UConn's Derek the RA is not happy about leaked email, so he sent another
Poor Derek the RA. He wrote the worst email of all time to UConn students, someone tweeted it out, and now he's sending more emails to clarify what he meant. Unfortunately for him, his follow-up also ended up on the Internet -- I mean, did he really think it wouldn't?
Derek explained that "90 percent of what I said was sarcasm" and that his "cheering for laundry" line was a Seinfeld reference. "But now it's all over the internet, so thanks," he said, and signed it "Derek ('arguably the worst RA in UConn history')."
Twitter user @dgibs16, who happens to live in the dorm, shared a picture of the email on Tuesday.
If only there were a sarcasm button in this world, Derek the RA, if only. And if only kids born in the mid-'90s got down with Seinfeld jokes.
