STORRS, Conn. (AP) UConn officials say a school investigation has confirmed a hazing incident last year in its women's hockey program.

The university issued a statement Thursday after WFSB-TV reported this week that a former player has filed a lawsuit in Rockville Superior Court alleging she was pressured to drink and wear sexually inappropriate clothing during what upperclassmen called ''Rookie Night'' last fall.

Shannon Godin left the team after her freshman season. Her lawsuit also alleges that coach Christopher Mackenzie made inappropriate comments to players about his underwear.

Mackenzie did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment.

UConn issued a statement saying it found no evidence coaches were involved in the hazing and that current students who were involved are facing university discipline.
