UC Davis edges UC Irvine to claim Big West Tournament, NCAA berth

Despite missing out on the Big West regular-season title after being blown by UC Irvine on the final day of the season, the Aggies turned the table Sunday with a 50-47 win over the Anteaters. As result, the Aggies claimed the Big West Tournament and more importantly a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Brynton Lemar led all scorers with 20 points. Luke Nelson chipped in 14 points in a losing effort.
The Aggies now await the bracket they'll feature in as the NCAA hands out seeding less than 24 hours later on 'Selection Sunday'
