Ty Dillon Rallies Late To Win Trucks Race At Kentucky
Ty Dillon rallied late in Thursday night's UNOH 225 at Kentucky Speedway to capture his second career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory.
Dillon started 22nd and managed to maneuver his way to the front of the field, ultimately passing Kyle Busch for the lead with 26 to go. Brad Keselowski tried tracking down Dillon, but was unable to close the gap and would finish second.
"My guys have worked so hard. We've had faster trucks than we did last year," Dillon said. "Things just haven't gone our way, but they did tonight."
Busch fought off a hard-charging James Buescher for third. Rookie Ryan Blaney finished fifth.
Dillon's first win of the season moves him up to third in the Championship standings, 40 points behind leader Matt Crafton. NASCAR's truckers head to Iowa Speedway next weekend to tackle the 7/8-mile oval.
And in case you missed it, Dillon's celebration was awesome. Check it out..
