Two Reds prospects picked for Futures Game
A pair of Reds prospects are part of the United States roster for the 16th annual MLB Futures Game.
Robert Stephenson and Jesse Winker, both currently members of the Double-A Pensacola Blue Wahoos, were picked to represent the club July 13 in Minneapolis.

A first-round pick of the Reds out of high school in 2011, Stephenson is a right-handed pitcher who is 3-5 with a 3.97 ERA and a 1.273 WHIP in his first full season at Double-A. The 6-3, 195-pounder is second in the Southern League with 80 strikeouts and has walked 39 in 77 innings pitched.
Winker is a left-handed throwing and batting outfielder picked by the Reds in the first round of the 2012 draft out of high school. He was just called up to Double-A for the first time last week after mashing California League pitching at Bakersfield to the tune of a 1.006 OPS. He his .317 with 13 homers and 49 RBI while drawing 40 walks in 53 games. The 6-3, 210-pounder went 3 for 16 in his first five games in Pensacola with six runs scored.
