Twins recall starting pitcher Hendriks

MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Twins optioned right-hander Lester Oliveros to Triple-A Rochester after Friday's game to make room for right-hander Liam Hendriks.
Oliveros, 24, was recalled earlier this week to add an arm to Minnesota's bullpen, but made just one appearance. He allowed one run in 1 2/3 innings Thursday against Philadelphia.
Hendriks will start Saturday for the Twins against Milwaukee. He began the season with Minnesota but was sent to Triple-A Rochester after going 0-2 with a 9.00 ERA in four starts. He was 5-0 with a 1.94 ERA in seven starts with the Red Wings before his promotion.
