Twins place Milone on 15-day DL, recall Pat Dean

The Minnesota Twins have placed pitcher Tommy Milone on the 15-day disabled list with left biceps tendinitis and have recalled Pat Dean from Triple-A Rochester.

Milone has appeared in 15 games for the Twins, starting 12 games and going 3-4 with a 5.68 ERA with 19 walks and 43 strikeouts. Dean has made eight appearances (six starts) for the Twins in 2016, going 1-3 with a 5.54 ERA, 15 walks and 28 strikeouts. He went 5-7 with a 5.56 ERA in 87 1/3 innings in Triple-A this season.
