The Minnesota Twins claimed minor-league outfielder Kenny Wilson on waivers from Toronto on Thursday, the team announced.

Wilson, 24, was designated for assignment by the Blue Jays when Toronto acquired Darin Mastroianni off waivers from the Twins earlier this week. He's been playing with Double-A New Hampshire to start the 2014 season and hitting .210 with one homer and eight RBI in 15 games.

A second-round pick of the Blue Jays in 2008, Wilson has yet to play above Double-A. In seven minor-league seasons, he's hit .228 with 149 RBI and 196 stolen bases. Wilson is capable of playing all three outfield positions but has spent most of his professional career as a center fielder.

With the addition of Wilson, Minnesota now has 40 players on its 40-man roster.
