For this edition of "Tweets Of The Week" we're going to focus on one topic. It's not news that Jimmie Johnson has haters. However, they were in full force after Johnson's win in Martinsville on Sunday. Enough so, that Johnson posted this Tweet earlier today:
You haters have it right. I'm a bad teammate, I have a cheated up car, I'm lucky and the race was fixed. Gotta love twitter & #NascarFans. â Jimmie Johnson (@JimmieJohnson) April 8, 2013
Now, how did we get to this point? While Johnson has yet to clarify his Tweet, the Twitterverse may tell the story. In Sunday's race, Johnson didn't slow to allow Dale Earnhardt Jr. back on the lead lap:

Some in the media didn't think Johnson did anything wrong:
Bet you if @jimmiejohnson had slowed to let Dale Jr. keep his lap, NASCAR would have penalized JJ for not maintaining reasonable speed. â Jeff Gluck (@jeff_gluck) April 8, 2013
That Jimmie Johnson's character still gets questioned is an indictment of #nascar fans who can't appreciate the grace of a 5-time champion. â Nate Ryan (@nateryan) April 8, 2013
However, the move drew the ire of more than a few NASCAR fans:
...aaaaand now the entire Junior Nation hates Jimmie Johnson. Way to go, Jimmie! #NASCAR â Molly (@flmolly) April 7, 2013
Great teammate that Jimmie Johnson is...Dale Jr. has helped him win 3 or 4 races in the past few seasons and Johnson does THAT? #KarmasComin â Hingle McCringlberry (@K_Bills) April 7, 2013
Jimmie Johnson is stupid. Why would he do that to Dale Jr.? All the other cars stopped for him? #NASCAR â Kaitlyn Barger (@bargekai) April 7, 2013
In the end, Johnson gave thanks for those showing him support.
On a serious note, thanks for all of the tweets. I really appreciate the support from all my fans. #Team48#6pack â Jimmie Johnson (@JimmieJohnson) April 8, 2013
