TV63 brings us a comment worth highlighting

Yesterday was not a good day for former Cavalier Daniel "Boobie" Gibson.
As Sam Amico reported, Gibson turned himself in to New Orleans police on 2nd-degree battery charges and may have played himself right out of the league.
In summarizing Gibson's career and life in Cleveland, one of our more frequent commenters, TV63, said it best;

Boobie was a really good guy in Cleveland. He helped the poor and loved his family. He always carried himself in a respectful way from the years he was here. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt on this incident. As far as a player..... different story. He became apathetic and lackadaisical especially this last season. He had many injuries which he seem to milk them. There were times he didn't play well or couldn't keep up and all the sudden he falls down and Oh Boobie out for 2 weeks on another injury. On and on this would go on for 3 seasons. He would take personal days frequently and for long periods of time more than the average NBA player would. He missed so many games. He just wasn't reliable and consistent. I wish Boobie the best of luck!

Well said, TV63. Thanks for being our favorite comment of the day!
