TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- The University of Tulsa has announced the hiring of Derrick Gragg as the new athletic director.
TU President Steadman Upham announced the hiring of Gragg on Wednesday. Gragg spent the past seven years as athletic director at Eastern Michigan.
Gragg replaces Ross Parmley, who was suspended in November and fired Dec. 4 after he was identified as an "admitted gambler" in court documents that are part of a federal investigation. Parmley has not been charged, though the NCAA is investigating the case.
Gragg was a four-year football letter winner at Vanderbilt
