TUF Talk: Angela Hill happy she got to fight the No. 1 seed in her 2nd pro fight

When the cast list for The Ultimate Fighter was announced this season, one name in particular stood out because her record was 1-0 and she hadn't fought anybody of note before joining 15 of the top women's fighters in the world at 115-pounds.

Angela Hil was a deadly Muay Thai fighter with an undefeated record, but only one professional MMA bout on her resume and it immediately landed her behind the eight-ball as a massive underdog on the show.

Her reward for coming to The Ultimate Fighter with one win was a matchup against No. 1 seed Carla Esparza in the opening round.  Hill came up short, but fought with a ton of heart and determination to give the former Invicta FC champion everything she could handle.

It's not as good as a win, but it's a good tone setter for the way Hill plans to enter the UFC and eventually climb into title contention.

"It's hard to see the positives other than I got a chance to go at the champ after my first fight. That was really cool.  I honestly thought I could have done way better. It's hard to look at it objectively and not think I just totally f--ked up," Hill told TUF Talk.

"I feel like I'm the type of person that will not make it easy for you.  I guess I'm just hoping that shows through and people will want to see me fight again."
