Tuesday's A.M. Hot Clicks: Chloe Lloyd; Scenes From the North American Wife-Carrying Championship
Scenes From the 2016 Wife-Carrying Championship
Congrats to Elliot and Giana Storey of Westbrook, Maine, who won first place in the 17th annual North American Wife-Carrying Championship in Newry, Maine. The Storeys completed the 278-yard course in just under a minute to claim the grand prize of Goose Island Octoberfest beer (11 cases) and five times Giana’s weight in cash ($665). And they're not done—the couple will compete in the World Wife-Carrying Championship in Finland next summer.
MLB Round-Up
David Ortiz's career is over after the Indians won a close Game 3 to sweep the Red Sox. Ortiz had an emotional goodbye on the Fenway Park pitcher's mound while Pedro Martinez managed to insult all Native Americans during the TBS pregame show (and apologized after). Meanwhile in San Francisco, Joe Panik hit a walk-off double to keep the Giants' playoff hopes alive against the Cubs. Somehow Jake Arrieta hit a three-run bomb off Madison Bumgarner but it wasn't enough for the Cubs.
Women's Wrestling in 2016
Sasha Banks and Charlotte (Ric Flair's daughter) will compete inside a steel cage (or "Hell in a Cell" as it's known in WWE) later this month. In other wrestling news, Goldberg will return to a WWE ring for the first time in 12 years next Monday night.
Chloe Lloyd: Lovely Lady of the Day
Chloe Lloyd is more or less perfect looking and long overdue for LLOD honors. Today is her lucky day (click for full-size gallery).
Don't Try This at Home
This guy deadlifted 505 pounds, and since that's not hard enough he did back flips between lifts.

Odds & Ends
LeBron James does not like stray laundry in the locker room ... Jim Harbaugh is going to Ruth's Chris in Ann Arbor to take advantage of their great deal on steak ... Parents and kids in matching Halloween costumes are all the rage this year ... Guessing this Dodgers fan regrets his "eat everything at Dodger Stadium" bet ... The Robert De Niro-Jon Voight feud is heating up ... A tortoise raced a hare in Thailand ... I've never loved Anne V as much as in this gallery of SI Swimsuit selfies.
It Was All Staged!
Remember that great/awkward moment when Sacramento owner Vivek Ranadive called Nik Stauskas to tell him the Kings were drafting him? It was all staged. Damn you, ESPN!

Dance Your Cares Away
Fraggle Rock is coming back to HBO. I probably won't watch it but love the theme song.
