Tuesday night's Cardinals-Cubs game postponed due to weather
CHICAGO -- The Cardinals will have to wait another day to play their second game of the season.
A forecast of heavy rain and thunderstorms with sub-freezing wind chills led the Chicago Cubs to postpone Tuesday night's game, originally scheduled for 7:05 p.m. A makeup date has not yet been announced, and the Cubs have encouraged fans to keep their ticket for the rescheduled game.
Cardinals starter Lance Lynn will face Chicago's Jake Arrieta in the series finale Wednesday at 1:20 p.m. St. Louis won the series opener 3-0 Sunday night and the teams will meet in Chicago for two other series this year, with the next one set for July 6-8.
