INDIANS RECALL RHP TREVOR BAUER FROM COLUMBUS; OPTION LHP NICK HAGADONE TO COLUMBUS
CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the Major League roster:
** Recalled RHP TREVOR BAUER from AAA Columbus.
** Optioned LHP NICK HAGADONE to AAA Columbus.
Bauer is making his second start for Cleveland tonight after making his American League debut with the Indians on Saturday, April 6 in Tampa Bay (L, 5.0IP, 2H, 3R/ER, 7BB, 2K, HR). Around his April 6 start he has made 3 starts for Triple-A Columbus, going 1-0 with a 2.50 ERA (18.0IP, 15H, 5ER, 6BB, 24K, .242AVG), averaging just 3.0 walks per 9.0IP while fanning 14.4 per 9.0IP.
Hagadone returns to Columbus after going 0-0 w/a 2.45 ERA in 8 relief outings for Cleveland.
