Too Much RGIII?
One of the most disappointing moments of the 2012 NFL season was watching Robert Griffin III injure his knee after a phenomenal rookie season. His play was electrifying, and he pulled off the unthinkable in DC, leading the Redskins to the playoffs. Griffin is well spoken, charismatic and charming in interviews, handling himself with equal parts poise, wit and intelligence.
So this preseason, following his knee surgery and heading to the start of the season, is he overdoing it? He is a big deal to the Redskins, but is he making too a big deal out of being a big deal.
Yes, the question of rushing him to play or treating his health with caution for the long term good of the franchise is a compelling one for the Skins. Still, he's stoking the fire with his press conference answers, t-shirt statements and Twitter activity.
