CLEVELAND, OHIO -- Tony Romano, an accomplished media and advertising sales executive, has been named National Sales Manager of FOX Sports Ohio. The announcement was made today by Francois McGillicuddy, Senior Vice President and General Manager of FOX Sports Ohio and SportsTime Ohio.
Reporting to Trey Dolle, General Sales Manager of FOX Sports Ohio, Romano will lead the network's national advertising sales efforts. He joins FOX Sports Ohio after most recently being a top producing account executive at Home Team Sports (HTS), a division of FOX Sports Media Group.
"We're pleased to have Tony join our team to lead FOX Sports Ohio's national sales efforts," said McGillicuddy. "His experience at Home Team Sports and background selling FOX Sports Ohio to national advertisers will be a tremendous asset to our business."
Before joining HTS in 2006, Romano was sales manager at Holmes Place, a premium wellness brand that operates health clubs worldwide. Prior to that, he served as director of sales for Lakeshore Athletic Clubs, LifeStart Wellness Network, and worked in additional sales roles for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Apple Vacations.
