PHILADELPHIA (AP) Tony Morgan has become the third harness driver in North America to reach 15,000 wins.
The 56-year-old driver reached the milestone Friday at Harrah's Philadelphia Racetrack, capturing the first race with Lightning Moon.
Horses driven by Morgan have won $117 million in purses, 13th on the North American list. He's one of three drivers to win more than 1,000 races in a year, with 1,004 in 2006.
Morgan could pass the second-leading North American driver, Herve Filion, this year. Filion has 15,183 wins.

Says Morgan: ''I've got a pretty strong work ethic. I figure that if I can outwork everybody I'll do all right.''
