Tom Brady's $50 nuts sold out in a hurry

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's venture into the world of commercial health and nutrition products continued this week when his label TB12 put out boxes of snacks for $50.

According to CNBC, the TB12 Snacks went on sale Monday and were sold out by Wednesday morning.

The TB12 Snack 12-Count Variety Pack is not simply cashews and peanuts but a mixture of six different raw, vegan, organic, gluten-free, and dairy-free snacks. The varieties are called: Blueberry Crunch, Amazon Crunch, Superfood Energy Squares, Cacao Goji Energy Squares and Dark Cocoa Coconut. Perhaps the store purposely created a shortage for the snacks, or maybe they just underestimated the demand for them.

Brady is passionate, if not obsessive about nutrition, and previously revealed some of his dietary habits and strategies in a $200 cookbook (nutrition manual!).

Sales appear to be strong, but once the QB begins his four-week Deflategate suspension/exile, he'll have an opportunity to go door-to-door with the snacks like a girl scout. Alternatively, he can keep his arm fresh by throwing passes to Randy Moss and Wes Welker.
