Tom Brady, Danny Amendola work out at USC
LOS ANGELES — It’s the football offseason and you’ll never know who you might see working out on the campuses of USC or UCLA.
Earlier this spring, Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh showed up, unexpectedly, to the Trojans practice and spoke with the team.
On Tuesday, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was on the USC campus tossing the pigskin around Howard Jones Field.

When USC head coach Lane Kiffin was asked who Brady was playing catch with, the fourth-year coach wasn’t quite sure.
“I felt bad because I couldn’t figure out if it was Wes Welker or the new guy they signed,” Kiffin said. “It was a short white guy, I know that. He was super quick and caught everything. So, it was one of those two, probably, I’m guessing.”
As it turns out, Brady was working out with his new target Danny Amendola, as confirmed by the USC athletics department Twitter account.

USC wide receivers coach Tee Martin tweeted a picture from his office of the workout with the caption “View from the office watching Tom Brady workout.”
This isn’t the first time Brady’s made a stop at USC, according to Kiffin. Along with Brady, former Trojans and current Vikings QB Matt Cassel, the Chargers' Philip Rivers, and the Saints' Drew Brees have all used the USC facilities.
