Timberwolves to play exhibition game in Montreal

The NBA announced Tuesday the Minnesota Timberwolves will play an exhibition in Montreal this season as part of the league's Canadian Series.

The Timberwolves are scheduled to take on the Boston Celtics on Oct 20 at the Bell Center. It will be the second year the NBA's played games in Canada and features a Boston team accustomed to playing outside U.S. borders.

The Celtics played in Turkey and Italy last year and in 2007 and traveled to Spain in 1988.
